I am a former civil engineer turned SAHM, designer and blogger. I love to be busy and creative!

My hope for this page is to serve as source of inspiration, encouragement, and occasional advice as we are all making our house into a home. I show up here to document my personal journey as I balance personal renovation projects, my research and solutions to making a home, small bits of motherhood, and inspiring client projects – sharing as I work through it all.

My design work is primarily concentrated on designing highly customized Ikea & Semihandmade kitchens for clients across the country. Yes, I do this virtually! My attention to detail, problem solving, and creativity form the foundation of my designs.

My background in engineering and enthusiastic personality are evident in all I do from content here on the blog to my client services. In all I do, I balance function, budget, and a beautiful aesthetic- the intersection of which I believe makes a House with Home.
